What is Trans Europe Halles?

TEH is a pan-European network with 180+ members in 40+ countries, initiated by citizens and artists. Since 1983, we have been at the forefront of repurposing industrial and commercial buildings for arts, culture and community use.

Our members are multidisciplinary spaces that combine artistic and social activities, based on the belief that culture can transform people, spaces and societies.

The TEH Coordination Office is based in Lund, in a beautiful old villa that offers an inspiring place to work. From here, our small international team manages membership services, organises annual TEH events and online gatherings, and runs projects in areas such as sustainability and green transition.

TEH’s working language is English.
