Leaders Lab
Leaders Lab is a cross-European leadership training programme. Leaders from 13 independent cultural centres in Nordic/Baltic (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia) and Latin European countries (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy) engage in a process of knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning.
Leaders Lab follows on from the previous network project Trans Nordic Net and
is a part of the EC funded TEH project
Engine Room Europe
.
The first meeting, Leaders Lab #1, took place at Mejeriet in Lund, Sweden, on May 9–10th 2011 and Leaders Lab #2 at La Casa Invisible in Malaga, Spain, on November 9–10th 2011. The next meeting, Leaders Lab #3, will take place on June 4–5th 2012 in Paris, France.
Connected to each Leaders Lab are the Leaders Lab Talks, a series of public seminars taking place at TEH centres during 2011–2013. Leaders Lab Talk #1 discussed the topic "Evolving Leadership" and was hosted by TEH in partnership with link2 - Lunds Innovator för Kultur och Kreativitet with support from the Nordic Culture Point and the City of Lund. Leaders Lab Talk #2 addressed *Free Culture/Free Software' and the shaping of citizens' self-organisation in social and cultural centres in Spain.
