Pragovka Gallery

Pragovka for art z.s. is an open association of artists and cultural theorists that was founded from the bottom up out of the demand of the art community in a former factory building. The association manages a contemporary art gallery, organizes community events, and supports artists from the community.

What makes the organisation unique?

The building is in the outskirts of Prague and represents one of the few cultural opportunities, which is why we organize educational programs for children, summer cinema and other community events.

Last but not least is the support of the artists in our community (organization of exhibitions, residencies, technical and PR support etc.).

We were founded bottom up and we are concentrating on very progressive art projects that may not be presented at other galleries.
