Association Ballade
Associate Member / France
For over 25 years, Ballade has been dedicated to making artistic practice accessible to everyone, focusing particularly on amateur music. Through the oral transmission of music from both local and international cultures, Ballade strives to create a world where people can "live life in peace," much like John Lennon imagined in his song "Imagine."
Since 2006, Ballade has been running international projects across France and Europe, using music as a universal language to bridge cultural gaps. These international initiatives promote encounters beyond borders, strengthen cultural cohesion, and contribute to building a more inclusive, open, and solidaristic Europe.
In 20 years, Ballade has brought together over 5,000 participants from 30 different countries. The organization co-organizes Erasmus+ international projects, which focus on music and societal themes for young people, as well as for youth professionals.
