SPOTing Seminar in Vienna on Diversity as Essential Part of the Artistic Process
We invite you to join the seminar that we organised and hosted by our member centre Brunnenpassage from Vienna, Austria. The event takes a critical approach to existing privileges, hierarchies and decision making structures in the artistic knowledge production, putting emphasis on diversity as an essential part of the artistic process.
WHEN & WHERE
Dates: 31.03.22-02.04.22
Venues: Brunnenpassage & Belvedere, Vienna, Austria
PROGRAMME
During the seminar we will take the opportunity for a collective working session of the Cultural Transformation Movement (CTM) with inputs from Fairooz Tamimi (TEH Sustainability Specialist) and Tiffany Fukuma (TEH Managing Director). What’s more, D/Arts will bring the discussion about diversity and and transformations inside cultural institutions to the spaces of the Belvedere Museum – one of the most prestigious cultural institutions of Vienna. The idea is to engage artists, cultural workers, activists into an open dialogue with cultural directors and cultural policy makers to discuss strategies for sustainable transformation of the cultural sector.
