Call for mentor - Duct Tape & Dreams 2025

We are looking for a passionate and experienced mentor to join the Duct Tape and Dreams initiative. This is a flexible, volunteer-based role for someone with knowledge of the Baltic Region (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) or Poland. Your role will be to support emerging cultural initiatives as they develop their projects.

This four-month mentoring programme aims to share knowledge and help organisations through shared experience. It will connect younger organisations with mentors who have faced similar challenges and can offer advice on how to overcome them.

Apply if you

  • Are a TEH Member with experience in building independent cultural spaces
  • Are based in or familiar with the Baltic Region (preferred, but not required)
  • Are willing to engage in open, honest conversations
  • Are eager to support young, dedicated startups with your expertise
  • Can travel to the TEH Camp Meeting in Riga (30 October – 2 November 2025)

What you will do

  • Help evaluate and select 4 young startup projects
  • Join an online kick-off session in September
  • Hold 4 virtual one-on-one meetings with participants (Sept–Oct)
  • Attend the TEH-100 Camp Meeting in Riga (travel and accommodation covered)
  • Facilitate a collective workshop with participants and TEH members
  • Conduct 4 short follow-up check-ins (Nov–Dec)
  • Join a final wrap-up session
  • Submit a reflective report

What you will receive
