Cultural Accelerator Publication. Independent Cultural Sector in Azerbaijan: Challenges and Opportunities offers a unique insight into the country’s independent cultural scene that has rarely been highlighted. However, independent art initiatives have been growing across the country in the past years but still remains more of a local/immediate community phenomenon below the radar of international awareness and academic studies. The publication not only summarises the project results but also includes quotes from local artists, survey results that were conducted during the project and offers recommendations on what can be done to develop indepedent arts in the country.
