The conference will discuss questions such as: How do we establish creative spaces for culture? How do they grow? How are they organised? How can they be financed, given reduced political will to support Arts and Culture? What policy is needed to support flexible art spaces and artistic structures?
Join the discussion on how initiatives and organisations create alternatives to institutional structures. Tendencies and creative strategies from the independent culture sector as well as within the framework of political remits are explored.
The third day of the conference takes the form of a Nordic Lab, focusing on the specific conditions of the Nordic and Baltic regions.
we are more – the Europe-wide arts advocacy campaign is launched in a Nordic context by Culture Action Europe.
The conference gathers producers, directors, curators, artists, civil servants and policymakers.
